Haikumania

Today I was driven to write several Haiku.  The need was inspired by Symigoddess who posted several one liners from Twin Peaks. The lines are now the titles

I feel like I know her but sometimes my arms bend back.

Spring- do I know her
I long to embrace her warmth
cold bends my arms back

That gum you like is going to come back in style

Blow the bubble. Pop!
the store stopped carrying it-
Paris Hilton chews

She’s dead. Wrapped in plastic.

rigid and smiling
waist too small for organs
bright cardboard coffin

Black as midnight on a moonless night.

cold carbonation
acid concoction in black mug
bubbles rise from deep

Then a friend Josh objected prompting:
don’t make me hit the new X in the top right corner this “story”

stitches in cold flesh
gaping wounds closed for viewing
death by small xs
and
rough black twisted cordseaming jagged edges tight-

semblance of wholeness

Xs seem to remind me of surgical and undertaker thread.
I read this post causing a new flurry
Sainted Ronnie’s Alter
Democrats must simper
toady at the foolish alter-
fear retribution

A Citizen’s Lament:

Forced honor of you-

killer of non-whites and gayConservative Saint

Finally, I was curious for evaluation:
mike what do you think,
Fall like dewdrops on the brain
my haiku do not
Edited to add, I do not know what is up with the formatting.  apologies.
